Heritage Wines - The Heritage of Stanthorpe

The Heritage of Heritage Wines Stanthorpe

From Vineyard to Table...

Heritage Wines Stanthorpe is a family owned and operated vineyard located in Queensland's popular wine country. It was established in 1992 by husband and wife team Bryce and Paddy Kassulke. Stanthorpe is becoming an increasingly popular destination for tourists, and boasts a growing wine industry with approximately 45 wineries. Heritage Wines is open daily from 9am - 5pm with free wine sampling, whilst lunch and morning and afternoon tea is available on the weekends.

Heritage Wines provides free tours of its vineyard and wine making process. March and April are an ideal time for guests to visit Heritage, as it is our major vintage time. At each vintage we produce up to 80,000 bottles of wine. Heritage has a 150 tonne holding capacity with all processes such as; crushing, pressing, bottling, blending and labelling conducted on site.

Many award winning wines are available for tasting. These include; Private Reserve Shiraz and Merlot, Premium Oak Chardonnay and Botrytis Chardonnay.

Heritage Wines Stanthorpe has romantic accommodation on-site in the form of an old cottage built in 1867. This quaint cottage has no alterations and remains colonial in appearance. It is a wonderful escape away from the hectic city lifestyle. Please click on our Cottage page link on the left for photos & tariff information.

Stanthorpe is also a popular destination each year for wine festivals. The Apple and Grape festival occurs in March, The Brass Monkey Season throughout the winter months, whilst The Spring Wine Festival is in full swing throughout October. These occasions are perfect for visiting the array of wineries in Stanthorpe, and taking the oppurtunity to pop into Heritage Wines for a wine tasting, or to relax by the fireplace with a coffee or meal.
